Pre-shipment compliance guardrails
Catch retailer deductions before the truck leaves the dock.
Pre-shipment compliance guardrails for suppliers. Look up retailer chargeback codes, understand what triggers each deduction, and learn how to prevent it before you ship.
Popular deduction codes
Code ASN-ACCURACY: ASN accuracy chargeback
Amazon's ASN Accuracy chargeback measures the ship-notice (ASN) data sent via EDI against what is physically received at the fulfillment center. It is charged each time Amazon receives no ASN, or an ASN whose contents do not match the receipt.
Code CARTON-CONTENT: Carton content accuracy chargeback
Amazon's Carton Content Accuracy chargeback compares the carton-content record in the ASN against what is physically in each carton at the fulfillment center. It is issued for missing or inaccurate carton labels, or contents that do not match the ASN.
Code PO-ON-TIME: PO on-time accuracy chargeback
Amazon's PO On-Time Accuracy chargeback applies when items are not shipped within the purchase order's specified window, or arrive after the PO cancellation date — that is, the order is not fulfilled on time.
Code PO-UNCONFIRMED: Unconfirmed PO units chargeback
Amazon's Unconfirmed PO Units chargeback applies when a vendor ships units that were never confirmed against a purchase order — Amazon receives items it did not have a confirmed order for.
